“If they give it to the rich they call it a subsidy; if they give it to the poor they call it a handout.” - MLK Jr.
the rich got $1.9 trillion in government handouts called tax cuts giving people $2,000 isn't a handout. It's a small way of balancing the scales

My rent is 1,500 a month. I'm blessed to have an understanding landlord. I'm being docked on my unemployment because of a mistake I made in October. I lose unemployment soon. I'm high risk due to health issues. 2,000 will help for less than a month.

GOP believes in socialism for the rich and survival of the fittest for the poor while claiming to follow Jesus and to supporting to support pro life until babies are borne but then if they starve, live in poverty and have no access to health-care, tough shit.

You realise letting people keep their money is not giving them anything, correct?
