Why is our government so generous with those who are rich and so stingy with those who are not?

Those with large college loans have the greatest income earning potential. They don’t need a hand out.
I can have compassion for others without taking responsibility for their choices. I have made bad decisions in my life and was not rescued so I learned from them.

Get the gov out of the education finance industry or this becomes a perpetual problem

Yeah, I'm with you on this one. Not sure why targeting help for people who have more resources (college education) is a good move.

Because America was founded and is governed by and for a criminal empire. Also, because the American people are not smart enough to vote for the right candidates, nor are we interested in replacing this government of criminality.

We went from canceling all student debt -> canceling up to 50K student debt -> canceling up to 10K in student debt -> if Republicans agree of course. You know where we'll be next? Lower interest rates, or dropped discussion because the Biden admin doesn't really want to fix it.
Because they only serve their donor class.
