Don’t think smaller direct payments going to a reduced number of people is what Georgia voters had in mind when they were told that Democrats would start *cutting* checks if GA delivered the Senate.
Economic pain and struggle is not reduced to a smaller group of individuals. The pandemic doesn’t differentiate whether you make over $50,000 or not. Do the right thing. Stand firm with the original plan President Biden.
How it started: $2,000 checks will go out immediately.
How it's going: (Maybe) $1,400 will go out in a couple of months...if you made almost no money last year.
The moment this 1.9T dollar bill is signed is the moment we need to collectively start hammering them AGAIN for recurring payments.
They need it pounded into their heads, rhetorically speaking.
I’m so tired of hearing how people “can’t do the math” or “don’t understand politics” as cover for the Administration. It’s time for them to understand “brink of starvation” and “just got evicted” are all about.
