Jen Psaki confirms Biden admin looking at limiting income eligibility for $1,400 stimulus checks. "Further targeting means not the size of the check, it means the income level of people who receive the check. That's something that is under discussion."

Why not call the checks something besides stimulus ie relief, rescue, Covid cash, rebate...?

I didn’t qualify for the any of the other stimulus checks. I was a little hopeful that they said they’d be expanding who got one this time. Wow was I stupid to get my hopes up that this time would be different.

If they’re “finishing the job of giving $2000” then they should probably give the $1400 at least to everyone who got $600...

It will take months to figure out who is and who is not above or below a certain level of income ... it's only one check ... do that for the next check ... not this one!

I don't get it. @JoeBiden should pass his rescue bill as is, not a cent less and let the American people decide which has helped them more. The rescue bill of the tax reform bill. This is probably why Rs are fighting it bcus it's not a hard choice then what do Rs do?
