$2000 checks are widely popular, presumably bc people want to get them and think they are fair. So if only a small portion get them, suddenly they become much less popular. Is this not a longterm strategy for killing the political momentum around direct payments?

No one ever ask that at the daily press conference

Because they know in 2024 the choices will be Kamala or a reanimated zombie Hitler. Are you really going to vote for a reanimated zombie Hitler? The MSM isn't going to mention third parties, wouldn't want to siphon votes away & hand a victory to reanimated zombie Hitler would we?

Because many ppl like myself are unaffected financially by the crisis, and those funds would better be directed to ppl with little or no safety net. I get that. 100% of my covid checks go food&rent relief. Send affected folks bigger checks!

I think that nothing will get done when Republicans and Democrats will not work for the people. I’m very disappointed in out politics. It’s no longer about the people it’s about their own parties and what they want.
