If Democrats would just come out and say "We'll make sure that those $2,000 checks are in everyone's hands, and we're not making it a lower income level for those who receive it" - then DO it! - they'd cruise to a win in 2022. There is no good economic or political reason not to.

You’re right. If only they would do that instead of these nonstop emails asking for MONEY to fight Mitch McConnel.

Yes there is, they want to lose in the midterms because it is the excuse they need for doing next to nothing. Remember Obama???

They don't really want to do it. That's the problem. Tell Manchin he will be stripped of his committee memberships if he doesn't vote with the Party. Same for Sinema.

It's all about control and power. Those that have it feel they've earned it by somehow working harder or being more savvy than the general population & thereby refuse to allow one iota of good fortune to others that are merely clinging on to lower rungs of the ladder of success.

Having control of the gov breaks the 2nd place model Bill Clinton created for the Dem party to cash in wo working for change. (Just blame the GOP for your intentional inaction.) You're witnessing them take a dive in 2022. Winning in GA screwed up their plans!!! Time to fix it!

D'owners is why they don't. The only potential hope is that Joe ain't running again and can flip off the donors to create a positive legacy for all Americans. The question is, will he?
