“White House open to narrowing who qualifies for stimulus checks...” Not okay. It’s not just about how much money people make; it’s also about how little help people have received over the last year. Help people enough to make a difference! washingtonpost.com/us-policy…

Plenty of people who made enough in 2019 to not qualify are really hurting in 2021. And if you accidentally give money to people who are doing okay, they’ll pump it right back into the economy. A stingy stimulus won’t work.

They really wanna lose next election, there’s no other explanation. They said 2k checks, in the simplest of terms. What a joke.

Narrowing who qualifies for assistance almost always delays, complicates, and increases prices. Just get people the money you promised them.

"Not okay" why? Why is the current cutoff the magical perfect number? Are you in favor of widening the relief? Widening the relief by how much? Why is THAT the right number? The wisest people have an open mind that numbers may be refined. Even relief policy numbers.
