Shout it from the rooftops ya’ll!
A 0.1% tax on Wall Street trades would generate $777 billion over a decade. That's enough to end homelessness in the United States 38 times over.

Homelessness cannot be ended by spending money. There is no amount that can fix homelessness. If you don't understand the root causes of homelessness you can never find a solution.

Did you know that if I grow a tomato and trade it to my neighbor for a cucumber, we both must pay income tax or go to jail for that horrible action?

Why not have it on all professional trades? Why hurt individual investors? Then again, professionals will call it a “cost of doing business” and pass the cost down. The beat thing to do is to eliminate all tax write offs. All of them. Then taxes would go to help people.
We all know that they would never use that revenue for anything altruistic.

How about tax 10% and generate 77 trillion over a decade and fund green new deal?
