It doesn’t affect them. The truth is, unless one has skin in the game, there is no urgency. Call it empathy or whatever. Most people cannot understand something unless they experience it directly.

The majority of humans find it difficult to care about things that do not directly affect them. You can see this occur during debate surrounding healthcare, the minimum wage, unemployment, police brutality, stimulus checks, etc.

What we need is a massive movement. Not just to occupy the White House. But to occupy the entire state of Washington and every Capital building in each state. We need to FORCE them to do what they were elected into office for.

Why aren't these billionaires helping? They have the means, to end the economic suffering of the poor, newly and soon to be poor and still be so rich, that they couldn't spend it all, if they lived to be 1,000 yrs old.
