The denial of monthly #DirectCashRelief during a pandemic that鈥檚 gone on for almost a year is unconscionable. I doubt any of us can fully imagine the depth of suffering this has caused & is causing throughout our country. We鈥檒l be reaping the consequences of this for many years.

I imagine that the pandemic unemployment assistance isn鈥檛 as much as people need, but isn鈥檛 that basically direct cash relief?

No actually, because not everyone is in a position to receive unemployment.

Yes and I totally agree that is a problem. UBI is the way to go, we should be paying more people more money to stay home during a pandemic. The last data I saw indicated that 76% of the unemployed were getting benefits. To say that Americans were denied relief is a stretch.
more people can qualify to receive the PUA than can qualify to receive the Stimulus Check THIS TIME
