40 yrs ago America took a terrible turn, initiating a massive transfer of wealth into the hands of 1% of us. Through a reworking of tax laws to favor the already rich, union busting, deregulation & every other tool of oligarchy imaginable, we have economically tyrannized a nation

Neoliberalism. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neolib… Ronnie Raygun brought it to the US, Thatcher to the UK, every government ("both" parties) since has supported it in both nations. Rebel. #DirectDemocracy #GiftEconomy

55 years ago, America declared war on poverty with trillions spent for no results. We still have the same percentage of poor. Throwing money at the problem doesn't solve the problem. Instead it triggers waste, fraud, and dependency.

Margret Thatcher is rimming Ronald Reagan in hell. Don't know whose getting the worst of the deal. Waiting for Kissinger to die. He'll be strapped in his wheelchair and forced to watch for eternity. Fitting punishment for all three.

But The Great Orange Satan was bad, even though he was exposing the corruption that made this possible. So I guess we keep the corruption, but hey, at least we don't have have the unseemly Orange tweets.

Anyone who thinks "deregulation" describes anything that's happened over the last 40 years is either drunk or trying to sell you something... The oligarchy loves regulation, because they get to write it.
