40 yrs ago America took a terrible turn, initiating a massive transfer of wealth into the hands of 1% of us. Through a reworking of tax laws to favor the already rich, union busting, deregulation & every other tool of oligarchy imaginable, we have economically tyrannized a nation

Time to "Gamestop" Republicans by giving millions of small $ donations to their Progressive primary challengers and boycotting their corporate mega donors.

I wish Americans would travel overseas more to see what functioning democracies look like. The tax avoidance schemes have eviscerated our infrastructure & economy. We are literally driving on crumbling streets and bridges!

The "family values" president remade the economy into one that required both parents to work full-time in most cases and kids to be raised by first TV then computers and eventually phones

America's biggest issue is that nothing good is honored. Not other people rights or our own responsibilities, not intelligence, not humility, not compassion. The only thing that we honor around here is money💰 and power which will soon destroy us all. It all started in 1492😭😭

And, the Democrats jumped onboard, continued deregulation so the big could devour the small. They took that train from 25 mph to 100 mph and still won’t slow it down! JFC, the only way to stop it is to crash it!

Capitalism always concentrates wealth in fewer hands. As the rich gain more power they are able to craft laws and policy like tax breaks & union busting, in their favor and the phenomenon intensifies.

Capitalism naturally evolves toward end-stage. Its collapse is inevitable, but if enough people wake up soon enough the transition to democratic socialism can be nonviolent.

Yep. It all started with Reagan. Even GHWB called his trickle-down economics “voodoo economics”. The GOP has put it on steroids ever since. We invest in our rich over healthcare, education, infrastructure, safety nets, etc. time.com/5888024/50-trillion…

It was called "Reaganomics" and the @GOP still lives by it. Their voters are too stupid to see what harm it has done to them. Either that, or there are more wealthy Americans than we know of.

Only fitting since I have been calling Joe Biden a Reagan type conservative but Democrat from the Northeast. He was never a true democrat he simply had to run as one because of his area.
