We’re fighting for a $2000 one time payment, and even that is essentially crumbs. It should have been $2000 a month from the beginning of the pandemic, lasting through the end of it. No other advanced country has seen its people so systematically neglected during the pandemic.

Correct. Many other countries are paying majority of people’s salaries plus they already have free healthcare. Amazing how much $ you save when you don’t bomb other countries and favor the 1%

Since this pandemic started, the Fed has provided around $14 trillion dollars in stimulus to banks, big corporations, etc. that has pumped up financial assets held primarily by those same banks, corporations and wealthy individuals. And the GOP is balking at a fraction of that?

When I grew up, people could be poor or “down in their life class” but still have food to eat and a place to sleep and affordable necessities. That is not true in 2021. #UBI $2000 monthly retroactive until pandemic is over.
