We’re fighting for a $2000 one time payment, and even that is essentially crumbs. It should have been $2000 a month from the beginning of the pandemic, lasting through the end of it. No other advanced country has seen its people so systematically neglected during the pandemic.

As much as I would love to get 2k a month... where is this money coming from? Trump fucked up the economy. Last thing we need is giving away money every month to everyone. How are we going to pay for this? We're already in serious debt.

Democrats should ram monthly checks through Congress, now that they have the majority. Maybe that will get the ”fiscally concerned” to ask their constituents to wear a darn mask and socially distance so that we can all get back to normal sooner.

Disagree. We never should have shut down. The sick should have isolated or been hospitalized. Hydroxichloroquine+ should have been permitted. The economy should have remained open and we would have been okay.

Ummm...yeah, you’re not alone there. Canada gave some people $2000 with the CERB but not disabled people. Now some of those people have been given huge bills to repay because the eligibility was unclear and now they’re not eligible. So...
