We’re fighting for a $2000 one time payment, and even that is essentially crumbs. It should have been $2000 a month from the beginning of the pandemic, lasting through the end of it. No other advanced country has seen its people so systematically neglected during the pandemic.

Agree. It should have been, and used as an incentive for people to stay home. Lump sum or a % of salary, whichever was greater. Now it's needed to just keep people from bread lines or running up debt in a total crap economy.

The whole idea was (should have been) to pay people to stay home so we could have a successful lock down and control the virus. Trump/GOP refused to do that, so everyone had to keep going to work. Lock down failed. COVID ran rampant. That's not just unfair, it's criminal.

Our government sadly is more interested in sending money to all other nations for absurd and ridiculous things instead of our own people. When things are economically bad in our country, our countries money should go to our people! Not other nations! I can’t even fathom that view
