The greatest irony is that we could afford to do this! The richest country in the world has no need to choose between wealth and economic justice. The only reason we have chosen wealth at the expense of economic justice is pure unadulterated greed. We can choose another way.

That’s more like it. And it’s tragic actually. We should fight against this inequality! Many people actually believe that being the richest country in the world means something for them, when it really doesn’t. Poverty is rampant here and the gap between rich and poor is dramatic
