The greatest irony is that we could afford to do this! The richest country in the world has no need to choose between wealth and economic justice. The only reason we have chosen wealth at the expense of economic justice is pure unadulterated greed. We can choose another way.
McDonald’s worker in the US: $9/hr McDonald’s worker in Denmark: $22/hr, 6 weeks of annual vacation, a union, 1 year of paid family leave, life insurance and pension. America must join the rest of the industrialized world and ensure that our working class can live with dignity.

I was about to say that we can't choose anything without prominent left-wing voices like yourself banding together to galvanize the working class around a campaign of massive nationwide direct action spearheaded by a #GeneralStrike, but I quickly realized I'd be wasting my time
“Mass protests & strikes that can shut down entire industries” is problem-solving from another century. What we need is disruptive leadership not outside the building but inside it.

I do think we need disruptive leadership outside as well as inside, so I don’t agree with my own past tweet there. We need both.

There are two choices left in this country for those who see clearly what's happening with people like Marjorie Taylor Greene. Democracy or Totalitarianism. Time for the Left to choose which option to wholeheartedly support. Learn from Belarus.

great so have you considered perhaps getting in touch with some other high-profile friends of yours on the left & collaborating on leading just such a nationwide call to direct action because otherwise we're just gonna remain millions of individual voices screaming into the void
