Warren's #WealthTax plan calls for 2% over $500M, 1% more for over $1 billion. No one at that level of wealth would see any difference whatsoever in their lifestyle, but millions of people would see a fundamental difference in their lives based on what we could do with the money.

Marianne, we don't need rich people's money to do anything. The federal government doesn't need to generate revenue. It is the sole revenue source. The sooner people realize this, the sooner we can escape pay-for schemes and National "Debt" fear mongering.

One thing that will be challenging is annual valuations of estate. There’s always room to litigate valuation opinions there. How large would that department have to be?

millions of ppl who arent wealthy would have to prove at tax time that they are not, by annually calculating value of their assets, which could only be done accurately by putting those assets (houses, cars, etc) on the market
