Warren's #WealthTax plan calls for 2% over $500M, 1% more for over $1 billion. No one at that level of wealth would see any difference whatsoever in their lifestyle, but millions of people would see a fundamental difference in their lives based on what we could do with the money.

Correction: her plan is for 2% over $50M, not $500M.

Too bad she's just compromised opposition and anything she says it's lip service, no action.

Warren was a republican. Her sellout quarter loaf plans are treasonous to the working class.🐍🐍🐍🐍

Agree, but the reality of how it’s administered in other countries has been a problem. We would be wise to not repeat those errors. Also, unrealized (paper) wealth is a problem.

But what will happen when billionaires are disenfranchised by this wealth tax? Think of the billionaires' hobbies! we need their wealth to stimulate the private yatch, private jet, and private island economy! You wouldn't want a yacht salesman to lose his job would you?

This would be a great first step. The problem is that people don’t trust our government with the $. Use it to give us #UBI and people will get behind it.

Don't middle class Americans pay a higher percentage of income to taxes?

Our gov't - because it is so corrupt - will waste that money on more war products. So, what is the point of taxing the rich when that money only enters a corrupt system? To fix things, both parties must be dismantled, then tax the hell out of the rich.

Read the Deficit Myth by Stephanie Kelton. It will realize why we need to tax the rich and why we can afford fixing our other deficits. Ex. Housing, healthcare, environment, education, infrastructure, etc
