Warren's #WealthTax plan calls for 2% over $500M, 1% more for over $1 billion. No one at that level of wealth would see any difference whatsoever in their lifestyle, but millions of people would see a fundamental difference in their lives based on what we could do with the money.

Correction: her plan is for 2% over $50M, not $500M.

All that "needs" to be done is to get rid of the tax loopholes so that high income earners and profitable companies actually pay tax.

This doesn’t go far enough. We need a wealth cap and a wage cap. Nothing over $10 million/year per person income and no wealth over $200 million/person. All overages get redistributed to workers, social programs, and environmental causes.

Hell NO! My current net worth is negative, but when I am worth $1B+, I don't want to have to pay that tax. Said every Qpid MAGA.

Yeah, because we wouldn’t want billionaires to have to change their lifestyle at all... 🤷‍♂️ The rich are fighting a class war against us while we’re going after pennies and trying not to inconvenience them. Under this plan, the wealthy still dominate the world.

How about a 94% tax over 2.5 million? That's what we had in 1944, adjusted for today's currency! bradfordtaxinstitute.com/Fre…

That’s not the only reason for a wealth tax. The wealthy use their billions to exercise power, power taken from the rest of us. That needs to be stopped as well, for the sake of democracy. And for the sake of humanity, nobody should be too poor to live.

The problem is the rich know how to hide money so instead we implement a VAT
