If young people figured out a way to take a system that has been so consistently used against them to save themselves and turn the tables for a bit, I say good for them.

Disagree. Cynical and vindictive market manipulation is never right or productive. It the hedge funds are doing something illegal, then charge them in a court of law. If the laws need to be strengthened, then we should do so.
