Capitalism will always exploit those that work for a living, and externalise the costs to the Little People. Socialism for the rich, and rugged individualism for everyone else.

Children are known to pass on numerous germs. If a teacher is scared of a virus with a 99.98% survival rate, that teacher needs to stay way and find a new career and not fighten children with flexiglass etc. Children learn through connection not separation.

But who teaches from his/her desk anymore? Plexiglass isn’t the answer. And there are schools who are open and thriving! I love having my students in class! ♥️♥️. It’s good for everyone. It is possible.

Many countries have safely opened schools or never closed them to begin with. There is much evidence that schools can be opened safely. Do you apply the same standards for grocery store workers and other workers who have been working in person throughout the pandemic?
