I support teachers. No teacher should have to go back to the classroom who doesn't feel they've received everything they need - from plexiglass around desks to a vaccination if they want one - to ensure their safety and the safety of their students. #TeachersFirst

I get it ... Lots of people want kids to go back to school ... The problem is ... The Federal Government has NOT provided the adaquate resources ... with which ... to keep both students and teachers safe!

I completely agree. Teachers are just teachers to kids, nothing else. Of course teachers and students have to be safe from the virus, no matter the cost in dollars.

Teacher in my life, my girlfriend, got 1st dose a few weeks ago/now it's looking like she cannot even get an appointment for the 2nd through no fault of her own-looks like there is now a vaccine shortage/there are reports that over 2.5 million doses missing. This is a travesty!

My state is refusing to give school staff vaccines unless they agree to go back to some sort of in person school beginning in March. I can’t wrap my head around forcing people to choose how they keep themselves safe.
