Banks collected more than $30 BILLION in overdraft fees in 2020. Tell me again how the US doesn鈥檛 prey on the people who live paycheck to paycheck again.
And what's really amazing ... is that we allow this to happen ... Biden stole your phrase about ... "The Sole of America" ... now this Sole needs to be purified ... and these kinds of facts need to be eliminated from the American vocabulary.
They take our $30 billion and then the government bails them out and tosses us a pittance in peanuts. Don't even get me started with what amounts to pseudo-banking institutions tailored for lower class: payday loan/car title loan companies and then the very bottom pawn shops.
Pretty sure my pandemic relief card only voids a transaction fee the 1st withdrawal. I wonder how much the banks will make siphoning off the pittance we鈥檝e just received.
