this thread is definitely spot on, and reparations should be studied, but i don鈥檛 think we鈥檒l ever get them passed into law when the country is this economically fragile. better to start the conversation while building up the economy for the entire working class.

A time like this is a good time however to envision and articulate the direction we want to move in. Biden is already talking about emphasizing racial equity, so making reparations part of the conversation is a good thing.

Reparations are Racist. You think the Govt can fairly distribute one persons wealth to another person who has never been the victim of genuine racism?

What happens when the handouts run out and everything stays the same as it has been all along? How about fixing the broken education system and giving people the ability to better themselves and make a sustainable future for their families?
