1/ The difference between race-based policies and reparations Is that reparations contain an inherent mea culpa. They’re recognition of a wrong that was done, a debt that is owed and the willingness on the part of a people to pay it.

I disagree. Atonement is everything. It’s * because* I’m a student of the Course that I’ve been talking about and about reparations for two decades. Perhaps you was not read the whole thing.

The course in miracles is very clear about forgiving your brother for what he didn't do . Your right Atonement is everything it's also in the hands of the Holy Spirit who decides what really helps people and what really frees people.

Correct. And the Course says HS directs each of us the role we are to play in the Atonement. How are you to say it’s not very Course of me to do what my heart tells me is my assignment? Does HS tell you what I’m supposed to do, or does HS just tell you what you’re supposed to do?

A student myself. Let’s broaden our view of where reparations would come from. If the funds are resultant from stolen resources, then we must first set that situation right. With Native Americans.
