Sorry, but UBI should be #1 on the list. Help ALL Americans first, and then worry about target demographics. Not everyone needs or wants new healthcare. Not everyone is in college or has debt. Not everyone wants to go to college.

I’m all for those proposals. But as a homeless person who gets Medicaid I’d just like to say I’d trade my healthcare for an affordable room to rent any day of the week.

All to be paid via taxation anyway. Someone always pays for it, otherwise it’s slave labor. And the real labor question is: why should workers that never go to college pay for those that do, helping them get rich in the process?
