Something I’m willing to wager is that if we had less millionaires in Congress, $2,000 checks would’ve already been out the door. We need more working class people that share our lived experience to run for office.

The worst part about extreme income inequality is that people become so buffered from the lives lived by other people that it’s easy to disconnect from any real sense of what someone else’s life is like.
