Something I’m willing to wager is that if we had less millionaires in Congress, $2,000 checks would’ve already been out the door. We need more working class people that share our lived experience to run for office.

Ok, but buffered by wealth is also a symptom, not cause. Bezos isn't reforming if he just spent more time w/ poor ppl. I don't think these ppl became sociopaths once they got $/power; rather they got $/power bc they were always sociopaths & we built a society idolizing sociopathy
