Something I’m willing to wager is that if we had less millionaires in Congress, $2,000 checks would’ve already been out the door. We need more working class people that share our lived experience to run for office.

The worst part about extreme income inequality is that people become so buffered from the lives lived by other people that it’s easy to disconnect from any real sense of what someone else’s life is like.

I'm pretty sure the worst part about extreme income inequality is the starvation, sickness, suffering and death it causes.

That’s the symptom, I was speaking to the cause.

My life is not easy. Paycheck to paycheck. Will never retire. No car. Will never own a house. No vacations. I am so tired.

Yes. There's a sense that these people are, like, sitting on a pile of gold laughing about how much they love money and screwing people over. Which may be true for some. But it's also human nature to not be aware of experiences outside your own, unless you consciously try to.

Dangle the carrot in front of the horse and it won’t realize it’s standing in shit.

It can take a low-income person a month to accomplish what a financially comfortable person can do in 5 minutes. Most people with money are out-of touch with reality. Most people in govt are not concerned with citizens having a fulfilling life. #TimeToFixAmerica
