It’s ridiculous we’re begging for $2000 one time payment, when $2000 retroactively for every month of the pandemic plus $2000 for every month while it lasts is actually a moderate and reasonable request of any government that cares about its people.

It is pathetic that we are in essence having to beg for crumbs when the entirety of the loaf of bread belongs to us! We (the People) shouldn't have to beg to get back our own money that we paid for all our lives into this corrupt and unequal system.

"...any government that cares about its people." You gave us both the answer and the problem Our gov't doesn't care about us. They are owned, lock, stock & barrel by Wall Street, the .1% and corporations We avg Americans aren't even a "blip" on Congress' radar

Problem is, our government doesn't care about it's people. Everything continues to function in a way that they aren't affected, so they behave like any Oligarchy does.

Citizens United needs reversal before to move the pendulum the other way, that neoliberal knee is firmly on our necks. If the Fed can QE launder corporate junk bonds people can have retroactive 2k monthly. It's that simple. No debate.
