It’s ridiculous we’re begging for $2000 one time payment, when $2000 retroactively for every month of the pandemic plus $2000 for every month while it lasts is actually a moderate and reasonable request of any government that cares about its people.

For some single parents, the first “relief check” went to the wrong parent bc it was based on the previous year. For those displaced, or needing childcare so they could work, I imagine this could have helped. $600-2k, childcare isn’t free.

It clearly not everyone cares! It’s unfortunate that people are hungry and can’t pay their rent and businesses are closing..and kids can’t go back to school! Be happy with what you get..it’s better than zero!
