It’s ridiculous we’re begging for $2000 one time payment, when $2000 retroactively for every month of the pandemic plus $2000 for every month while it lasts is actually a moderate and reasonable request of any government that cares about its people.

You identified the problem “with any government that cares about it’s people.” That leaves out the U.S.

Please be realistic. The US simply lacks the tax base income for that and you know it (or should). Other countries have done it, yes, but they have different (and more resilient) tax structures.

If I were a Repub (and I am NOT. I’m a centrist in terms that I agree with a majority of voters about most topics, like M4A. The Dems/Repubs are FAR right compared to voters), my 2010 ad would say: Democrat math $2000 = $1400 They give you platitudes, we give it to ya straight.

Especially knowing our government can afford *anything* it wants to pay for using #MMT.

Do any of the people asking for $2000 a month ever look at the debt clock? Explain to me how the government could ever afford that. I can't even tell you what the national debt is cause it never stops going up.

I was going to say something abt day 5 & no $2000 but I’m not going to y bother. Things won’t change spoken per Biden & yet people picked him & not someone who would help us. Covid sucks my ex father in law is fighting for his life today 😢. 2 months today my mom passed. 😢💜
