This still won't fix the problem if the stuff their learning is just propaganda. And, since a lot of the school boards are run by right wing people I don't think this would have the intended outcome wanted.

1/ We have to be intentional about rooting out conditions that led to the emergence of an authoritarian leader. Something we have to insist on is that American kids start learning civics again. Too many Americans have no clue how democracy works or what it is we need to protect.

All the more reason for good people to run for school board. Ignorance is never the better option.

I was never promoting ignorance. Having knowledge of how things work is always better. I just think it would have to be coupled with leftest organizing to be affective.
