This is a CRUCIAL point. Perhaps, too, members of the legislative branch should take courses and be required to pass an exam on the Constitution they swore to defend.
2/ Only 9 states & DC require a year of U.S. government or civics, while 30 states require a 1/2 year & the other 11 states have no civics requirement. This is a crisis. I remember looking at footage of rioters at the Capitol thinking, “These people have no idea where they are.”
