Millions of people are literally without food. What part of that do they not understand?
Key moderate Republicans in the Senate dismiss quick action on President Biden's top priority of a $1.9T economic package, indicating that the $1,400 stimulus payments Biden requested could take months, or never arrive. nbcnews.to/3a1Lfa9 - @sahilkapur

These Republicans are out of touch with the rest of the world ... and should not be in office!
Trump created the biggest deficit in US history, but when it comes to starvation, homelessness, and a deadly virus - that doesn't merit consideration now that there's a Democrat in the White House. The "Whats-in-it-for-me" GOP feeds rhetoric - never food.

They simply don't care I just understand how anyone can't get it but when you're a Republican I'd guess your empathy leaves your body

The GOP are almost cartoonishly evil. How do people struggling to survive in America ever vote for them? Why do they keep voting against their own interests? I will never understand this.

What part of stimulus checks only do politicians not understand. Not acceptable to cram a bunch of bs into a stimulus bill.

All of it. They are republicans, they are insane and live in bubbles of delusions.

$1.9 Trillion divided by 270 Million Adult-age Americans = Approx $7,000 each. So where's the rest of the money going?

The Dems don't need a single Repub vote to get this passed. If the Dems don't abolish the filibuster & pass this it'll be just pure cowardice & duplicity on their part. We shouldn't have a single headline for the next two years that reads "...but Republicans..." Just do it, Dems!

This is horrific. Let's see if Democrats have any fight in them. Unlikely. They are probably crying to their mothers right now and talking about Reagan.

Why is it ALWAYS the money for us normal folks that hold things up?
