No teacher should be forced to go back into the classroom. Their fear is legitimate. #SupportTheUnion
Teachers are truly terrified. This is not the right decision.

I'm a substitute teacher. I have not received income in a year. I will not go back into classroom until I am vaccinated. Of course, given how trump royally screwed the vaccine rollout up, I won't get vaccinated until probably summer. More lost income.

Apparently our COVID plan involves first killing off all of our teachers, healthcare workers, & other essential workers. I can't wait to find out what happens after that.

@ISTAmembers Maybe make sure your leadership is working to advocate FOR YOU. It’s well past time to strike & not stop till ALL demands are met: -#ZeroCovid endcoronavirus.org -$60,000 base salary -TRULY safe working conditions with/without COVID -EQUAL school funding

Should grocery workers be forced to go to work. Aren't teachers essential? My daughter who is autistic and needs socialization would tell you otherwise. Open the classrooms NOW

Oregon is vaccinating teachers now. To help with getting kids back in classrooms with some limitations.

Marianne, I live across town from this horror. Shame on the Cobb County Schools Superintendent and callous Board members. I’m married to a teacher, thankfully he doesn’t work for Cobb Co.
A teacher's dying wish was for people to wear masks during the pandemic. 3 Cobb County, GA educators have died during COVID. At a school board meeting Thursday, 2 board members & the superintendent refused to wear masks even during a moment of silence. A staff member responds:

Schools and kids are the least likely places to spread, epically the younger the kids. There is no evidence that suggests otherwise. Basically all the evidence shows that they kids are significantly LESS likely to spread.

Too late for some of us.
