Power corrupts people period not matter what their persuasion. If you want fundamental change then build systems that restrict power to few people and divided it among all. Good luck.

The party's have to be broken. It doesn't matter how many ppl we put into office if they get sucked into the system and began perpetuating it. That's what we've got so far for our efforts. We tried it. It doesn't work. Time to take a new path to our goals.
