It’s not too much to ask that we give one day to the cause of national reconciliation - a cease-fire of sorts - so we can regroup, purify our hearts of the toxicity of the last 4 years, forgive where we can, and realign ourselves with who we need to be to take on the work ahead.

Oh for hell sake. The party of “not my president” and flag burning and riots and contention and impeachment from day 1 now wants to preach forgiveness. The last 4 years have been one long temper tantrum by the dems.

We have had decades of reconciliation where the Purple Party (they are flaunting it now) makes the rich ever richer. That has always been their number one priority and they will continue it under #WallStreetJoe. #Midterms2022 is our next opportunity to vote Purple out.

Very well said, we all need a break after what we went thru. There will be plenty of work tomorrow. Thank you for "Forgive WHERE WE CAN" Awesome words.

I agree with you @marwilliamson. We do need to focus on creating a bridge over these troubled waters. A plan of action.

That’s a nice thought but reconciliation with people driven by hatred is not going to happen in a day, nor should it

It is too much for the Florida Republican Party. They have already emailed out fighting words that completely ignore the new president's call for unity. Yet one of the reasons, my husband and I just changed our political affiliations.
