We haven't avoided any social calamity...it just hasn't come to full fruition yet as pressures are STILL building, like tectonic plates about to let loose...and when it does we are all fucked.

We’re not out of the woods yet. And Biden is going to have to move left of Clobamism to avoid repeating the GOP triumphs of 94 and 10 and the rise of a more skilled fascist. The Occupy movement called Obama out in 11 and 12, but the Dems failed to learn. Clobamism led to Trump.
