This is one of those nights when you can feel your emotions shared by millions of other people. Together we endured a trauma and avoided a calamity. Relief, gratitude and love are in the air.

I wish I could share your relief but I don’t. We didn’t avoid a calamity, nearly half the country voted for Trump. We have record poverty, homelessness, income inequality, wage stagnation, unaffordable housing, healthcare. Fascism rises during hard economic times. It’s not over.

No, but for one night there’s something else as well.

I remain slightly nervous about tomorrow. The last few days have played out too quietly, & this guy craves 'being the focus' at levels beyond. I can't imagine him leaving without a final p.s. to rattle all of our cages. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong; but my spidey senses are tingling.

Me too, to some extent; I think a lot of people feel that way. It’s a time to be very prayerful.

Yeah we felt the same thing when Trump won, remember the chaos during the inauguration, no military presence, no fences.

We really need to make these two years count so that the other half of the country sees things are better off in our hands. We cannot be lazy. Now is not the time to rest.

Feeling hope fading. Out of the frying pan into the fire with msm blindlessly cheering.

A whirlwind of emotions as we close the door on what was...while looking to the future with hope and possibility of what lies before us.
