The left needs to arm. Officially capitol police didn't fire because they felt the crowd out gunned them. The fact is force underwrites all political power. As the left stays comparatively disarmed it will be trampled. The New Deal was inspired by the threat of real red revolt.

Afterwards protest peacefully, in a scary way. We're basically dealing with bullies. You have to scare them. General strike isn't it, because we can't even afford to be late to work, let alone go on strike. We need to show up like black panthers, armed so cops won't attack.
