I'm assuming you're addressing this to Mitch McConnell and Mike Pence, because they are the two people who are standing in the way of Trump's removable. Because if you're trying to somehow blame this on "Congress" or Nancy Pelosi, you have the story wrong.
By allowing him to remain in office til Wednesday at noon, they’re giving him the chance to pre-pardon Horn Man Chansley and any others involved in the capitol riot - to then become celebrities and leaders of their insurrectionist movement. How extraordinarily irresponsible.
