1/There are now more troops in DC for the inauguration than there are troops in Afghanistan & Iraq and for the first time our “transition of power” is anything but peaceful. The only way the situation will change on any fundamental level is if we’re open to a political awakening.

2/ A politics that treats symptoms but not cause is inadequate to the times in which we live. A politics stuck in a worldly container but blind to the inner dimensions of life is inadequate to the times in which we live. The politics of the past will literally deny us the future.

Yes ... the symptoms ... if you throw some money at them ... you can fix them temporarily ... but until you dig down deep and really cure the underlying problems ... they will continue to surface ... until the organism is dead!!

We need a movement. Remember the "Love Generation"? Won't happen, but the only way this gets fixed is a shift in public priority. Otherwise, it's swatting flies, while still more come out of the rot.

Really I worry for Americans I grew up in the 1980's and the UK was suffering the attacks by the IRA, really I think @JoeBiden should look at the UK Peace process as all conflicts can be solved through non violence just look at Ghandi
