People say they’re worried that giving too much money to the poor will make them lazy and entitled. Why aren’t we worried that giving too much money to the rich will make them arrogant and delusional?

I’m the same person with the same values & politics as I was 5, 15 or 35 years ago. What’s “still true” that you think you have to resolve? If you think I’m “anti-science, anti-medicine, or told AIDS patients not to take their medicine,” I assure you such things were never true.

Some of the things about illness bothered me, though I appreciate your clarifications. I really didn’t need to qualify what I said though—you’ve been a clear, consistent moral voice and I appreciate it
