People say they’re worried that giving too much money to the poor will make them lazy and entitled. Why aren’t we worried that giving too much money to the rich will make them arrogant and delusional?

It fits so snugly with our childhood paternalistic lessons, and as a result, it resonates deep inside most of us..."get a job, or you'll end up a bum. You can't expect to live with your mom and me forever." The rich have just cooped and rebranded it. Most just accept it.

We have proof that too much money will make you lazy and entitled, just look at our government's catering to billionaires. But the amount of money they are giving out isn't comparable.

I agree. They get so self satisfied, so smug and self centered and unbearably, "I, Me." Maybe some poor people just want to be able to eat, to feed their kids. Yes, irresponsible people there, too, but certainly among the rich as well.

The problem is the senate .congress passes bills to help the people but the senate will not bring a bill to the floor unless it helps them are businesses the senate is the house of wall street . They love it when you blame it on congress. The senate is the problem
