People say they’re worried that giving too much money to the poor will make them lazy and entitled. Why aren’t we worried that giving too much money to the rich will make them arrogant and delusional?

I agree we should take care of the poor, but doesn’t “giving” money to the rich usually involve all of us buying the services or goods they’ve brought to market that are in high demand or highly valuable? That’s not a handout. Why should they not profit off their innovation?
