People say they’re worried that giving too much money to the poor will make them lazy and entitled. Why aren’t we worried that giving too much money to the rich will make them arrogant and delusional?

Because most rich people earn their money. Politicians on the other hand get rich by taking money from lobbyists and those that earn it and create policies that ensure poor people remain dependent on government.
