People say they’re worried that giving too much money to the poor will make them lazy and entitled. Why aren’t we worried that giving too much money to the rich will make them arrogant and delusional?

And hoarders of their wealth not to mention not paying their share of taxes equitably. There is something wrong with a system that makes it more expensive to be poor than to be rich.

I know this sounds like a fairy tale but - you would think that at some point of unimaginable wealth, after the 5 homes, jet, yacht, able to retire with no loss of comfort, a CEO might say “I have more than I will ever need. Perhaps my employees should have more”.

YES! So true. MLK said it 60 yrs ago! “It’s Socialism for the rich, & rugged individualism for the poor.” We’ve got to flip that script. The income inequality gap is wider than ever. The poor aren’t lazy. The rich are. The tax rate for the rich was 90% under FDR & they did fine.

Well I think if they were really giving it to the poor and properly we would not have the world we have today. Instead we fed organisation that fatten themselves and their and in return poison the poor?! Just IOHO?!

Agree. Even better... What about telling people the correct solution is paying people to stay home for a 100 days, enforcing it so we end the pandemic once and for all?
