So when millions of us have seen with our own eyes the execution of unarmed black men, can someone explain how any policeman still feels permitted to do dastardly deeds like what was done to Jacob Blake tonight? (And don’t dare anyone say that we don’t have all the facts yet)

As always, Marianne lays it out clear and true. Our Democratic dreams are audacious - a true multi-ethnic, multi-cultural citizenship - it is WELL more advanced than the founding fathers intended. And requires a depth of spirit that is evolutionary in every way.
