I believe it is the way it was presented. When I hear "Dark psychic force" most people instantly dismiss whatever words comes after or use ridicule as a deterrent for those that might listen. I would suggest "induction of schizophrenic delusions and the manipulation of inductees"

I can see how the way you say and explain a subject parallels scientific notation and most time provide a better explanation. Many people do not have that capability for understanding ( satire is a rarely understood form of speech)...

...I would suggest during general public speaking to take some notes from Trump. Use very simple and easy to understand concept like: If your Uncle didn't vote for Trump, His friends or family will abandon him and make him homeless, we need UBI to stop that.
